The official opening of the new Hall 6A on the grounds of Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie will take place on Saturday, 4 September at 6 pm. The star of the evening will be Leszek Możdżer, a Polish jazz pianist well-known to European and international audiences.

The extension of Hall 6A started immediately after the end of the European Youth Meeting TAIZE (in early January 2010). The works lasted only 7 months.

This modern exhibition hall is created at the location of a former Soviet pavilion. It will be the fifth largest exhibition facility in Poland (the top four facilities are also located on the MTP grounds). Its area after the extension will increase by over 3,600 m2.Thus, a complex of halls with the total exhibition area of 11,000 m2 will be created. In the future, the facility will be connected via special passages with MTP's largest exhibition hall, i.e. Hall 5. Its exhibition area amounts to 14,500 m2. As a result of connecting the expanded Hall 6A with Hall 5, an exhibition area amounting to 24,500 m2 will be created.

From January 2010 MTP provides wireless Internet service that enables access to Wi-Fi Internet.
The  Wi-Fi Internet access is offered to participants of the fairs and participants of other events organized by  Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie as well as to tenants of the fair premises who use the premises to organize their own events.

Wireless Internet access is a paid service and the access codes are sold at Biuro Organizacji Targów (Fair Organization Office i.e. BOT)  located in pavilion 3, 5 and 7 as well as at all ticket offices.

Wireless Internet service is available within the whole MTP area.

The catalogue is disseminated among professionals visiting the trade fair and serves as a valuable source of information about companies and their offer. A standard catalogue entry is obligatory, but you can also publish extended information and advertisements. Submission deadline is 1 October.

In September, you will experience new registration points in the Eastern Lobby (entrance from ul. Głogowska) and the WTC Lobby (entrance from ul. Bukowska). A professional visitor registration system based on barcodes will be another new development.

Barcodes are present on all documents admitting participants to the fair grounds (tickets, invitations, exhibitors' cards, press cards', vehicle entry passes). Admission to the fair grounds will be possible after scanning the code in a reader in a turnstile.

Please note: retain your admission documents throughout your visit to the fair because you will also need them at the exit (the barcode will have to be scanned in the turnstile).

On all trade fair days assistance will be offered to visitors by the Client Assistant in the Eastern Lobby (entrance from ul. Głogowska) and the WTC Lobby (entrance from ul. Bukowska).

The new proposal of the Poznań International Fair has been very well received by companies offering solutions for the broadly understood sector of public services. Tens of businesses, including many leading producers and distributors, such as Brodd Products Polonia, Dobrowolski, Eko Cel, Hewea, Husquarna Poland, John Deere, Kärcher, Pronar, Schmidt Automotive, WUKO and Zetor, have already registered for the first edition of the International Trade Fair of Municipal Technologies KOMTECHNIKA (Poznań, 27-30 October).

The scope of this event includes: maintenance of roads, streets and squares; cleaning and waste disposal; maintenance of green areas and recreation areas in cities; urban transport systems. Representatives of local governments, municipal waste management companies, municipal cleaning companies, companies responsible for maintenance of green areas in cities and urban road management agencies will be invited to see offers of KOMTECHNIKA exhibitors.

The exposition of the fair will be accompanied by a rich programme of events. We will cooperate with industrial partners to organise numerous specialist seminars, business meetings and live municipal equipment shows (we will soon present you with the offer of participation in these shows).

All exhibitors of the first edition will receive the KOMTECHNIKA FOUNDER CERTIFICATES and will be able to benefit from special offers during subsequent editions of KOMTECHNIKA.
